I used standard (rubber) lip seals in the PTO & belt pulley of my regular. I measured the shaft diameter and of the ID of the threads. The local bearing place found appropriate sized seals. Then I slipped the seals in & squirted RTV silicone at outer diameter of the lip seal where it met the threads. I took a piece of pipe with the largest diameter that would fit and cut a length that would fit between the seal and the packing nut (with 3-4 threads engaged). This held the seal in place and not rotateing. Both have held for 10 years (limited use). Shafts have to be 'reasonably' smooth and unworn where the lip seal rides. Could cement in a redi-sleeve if desired. kevin
