I personally have never tried this, but I have heard some guys say they use JB Weld on theirs to hold it. I use high temp Salastic. Not sure of the number of it right now. Two things for sure, it will probably leak if you don't use something, and there are as many answers as there are Cubs that need rear seals. I don't know why IH quit making the original seal, but I haven't found one yet that will replace it without gooping it up with something to make it stop spinning in the housing.
