The distillate or kerosene tractors have a different manifold and exhaust pipe. The pipe is cast iron and bolts to the manifold. There is also a tin heat shield that covers nearly all the manifold. All of the distillate and kerosene tractors had shutters. It was optional on the gas. I think that most of the SM's were gas.
