Red I am sitting in my ranch office watching the rain fall in central California. We are about 40 to 50% of normal for this time of year. I was going to spray pre-emergence herbicide in my almond orchards today, but instead, I will play on the Web and enjoy the rain. The rain is great for the 230 acres of winter forage crop planted in Dec. 1999. Both of my orange picking crews said that the field was too wet to pick mandarin oranges and navel oranges so that is on hold. I brought home another 1947 "M" last nite. One of my sons pulled me and the tractor about 5 miles from a friend's farm with our JD 5510. This one has a wfe, 3-pt,is complete, does not run but is not struck or grenaded. I traded 4 IH TD-20 track rollers for this tractor. I enjoy your insightful comments on the Farmall forum. Have a good day. Ray (medfarm)
