43, I agree with Jim, a universal after market 6 volt coil ought to be close enough in its primary winding resistance to be suitable for most all old tractor points n coil type of ignitions including Farmalls, notwithstanding a few which still ran some external ballast even at 6 volts I believe. You should match the coil with whatever polarity the tractors battery is, i.e. if its a Positive ground tractor the coils + wires to the distributor while of its a Negative ground the coils - wires to the distributor. It would still produce a spark regardless but its most efficient if wired correct. John T
