I pulled a stupid move and threw the TA on going down a hill in roadgear on my 460D (same same) I didn't know that mechanical TA's were different that hydralic TA's! Anyway I ended up putting a new TA Clutch, Flywheel and Pressure plate. Having never done it before I thought it was a big deal. The hard part was putting it back together correctly. I listened to the wrong "mechanic" and ruined my main clutch plate. The correct way is take the PP and clutch off the flywheel and put the PP on the outer splines of the tranny, the clutch on the inner splines of the tranny and then put the unit together. Once you have them together, rotate the flywheel till the PP holes line up with the flywheel and gradually draw down the PP bolts. G
