Some confusion on that. Fiscal year started Nov 1, but the white tractors are thought to be built in Jan, Feb, March of 1950. If that is not true, then you can't tell by casting codes. I have an origially white C with at least 3 castings bearing a March code. The white ones are thought to have been built in the 1st quarter of 1950, if IH meant fiscal, then it would be Nov, Dec, Jan, which excludes my tractor. Also if it is fiscal, they were built during two calendar years. My personal opinion is that the 1st quarter of 1950 means calendar, meaning the Cub in question was not white. I would like to know for sure, though.
