camshaft in DT-466

Hello, This is slightly off the subject of tractors but I will check with you all anyway. Have a DT 466 in an IH truck that has to have a valve job and the cam changed out. Was wondering if the cam bearings could be changed without having to remove the engine and take it all apart? Thanks for the help , YC
