I acquired my dog as a leftover too. Someone dropped off 6 puppies on the side of the road out in the country...beautiful Heeler / Aussie mixes. If they weren't adopted from the Vet Clinic within a week, they would be put down. So with a little needling I got the ok from the girlfriend to go take a look at em'. She fell in love right away and we've had him for almost a year now. He's a herding machine too, and a member of the family. It's sad that I had to come about him the way I did because someone else didn't have the balls to handle a situation. Oh yeah...and his name: International Harverster or Nash for short. I had to name him that to offset the negative green karma that came about when my buddy named his dog JD.
