You could have a number of things going on. Any time you build and engine its easy to get one little thing off and then of course no or little power. Cam could be off by one tooth, mag could have a weak spark, vacuun leak in the manifold, carb not set right or the govinor isn't in sink with the carb. Just a few ideas for you. BTDT and it can make you pull your hair out till you figure out where and why
