That 3 inch break could open up to be much larger when the tire is inflated, I would not use that one, and if you are going to the work of changing tires, you definately want to install tires that are good enough to last a long, long time. Some folks think that mismatched rear tires are O.K. as long as both of them are good. I disagree completely. The tractor will look and perform much better with a matched set of rear tires. When it comes time to sell the tractor, mismatched rear tires will discount the value considerably.
