Greg Depending on the inside dimension of the plug, a 3/4' or 1' socket extension (male end) can be inserted into the plug. By turning the extension with a pipe wrench or vice grip, hopefully you can remove the plug. If you do not have either, buy a 12" length of square keystock (the correct size) from a hardware or industrial suppy store. The price should be less than $10. If you have a ox-ace torch, place the square stock in a vice and heat about 2 to 3" from one end. Bend the piece into a right angle and let cool. You have now made a specialized wrench to remove the plug.
