Many (later)MDs, and 350Ds and other Diesels were Delco 12v pos ground systems. A 6v gen can be wound to 12v at a gen shop (call them first). Both Mitsubishi, and delco can be fit under the existing hood, search for pictures in the archives. Good luck, JimN
