a friend of mine has a mid 50s farmall C, it has been converted to 12v but it keeps burning up coils, there is a white ceramic resister(i think thats what its called) in the wire going to the coil, but i think they are still running a 6v coil, my Question is if i put a 12v coil on it do i need the resister? and do i need to change the points or condenser? any other help would be great, this lady is in her late 70s and still lives/works on her cattle farm, and i like to help out when i can,,,,thanks shan
