Thanks to all of you, as I am new to old tractors, and i'm hooked. Kinda like when you just have to take a stray dog in because nobody else will. It's sometimes frustrating, but when you're done and everything works, it's great. I will try the check valve and let you know what happens.As far as the leaking fluid from the pto, is that hydraulic fluid or gear oil? I have three farmall cubs that I am about to dive into, and they seem much easier than my 350. I just wanted to share that the 350 pulled down a 45 foot pine tree in three pulls at about half throttle. ( I did cut the roots first). thanks again , Mark
