The radiator is attached to the frame by two bolts and sits on a couple of springs and rubber pads. There is a cotter pin you need to remove to take off the nuts. It the bolt screws out of the radiator instead of the nuts coming off, I think that's almost normal as well. On a '40 H, there aren't any openings on the cross member to get at them, and removing them was the most fun to be had on the entire restoration. Not sure about a Super M, but I believe access is a little easier.
