I guess it just depends on what your definiton of an overhaul is. If you do it in frame and do the work yourself, you'll get it done for the price of an overhaul kit. If you do a full out of frame overhaul yourself, figure in the cost of a clutch and machining the crankshaft. If you have a shop do a full out of frame job, you could be looking at spending at least $2500 total. No matter what, definetly send out the head, at least to have the valves ground.
