FINALLY after years of searching I have at last found the H and C my granfather sold years back. The H was sold back in 82, and the C was sold in 93.I remember them both fondly and have many memroies of my granfather, father, brother and me and those tractors.Pulling logs with the H,cultipacking and culitvating with the C,helping Papa haul leaves to the edge of the woods, you know, the stuff that you kinda hated when you were a kid,but wish you had one more chance to do them with your loved ones who are gone now.I remeber Dad and Papa rebuilding the engine n the C after I put kerosene in the oil.(Hey I was only 8)Anyways,my probelm, the wife says no to a cash purchase of these,(tuff times right now)and I did talk the owner down on both(same guy owns both). He did offer me an even trade for my oldest sons Cub,and my youngest ones 154.(My youngest one is only 4,but when hes old enough itll be restored for him).Thats my problem.Teh two Cubs mean nothing to me,no connection other than my two sons. All except for those were at one point family tractors, even one I didnt know had a family connection.I know even thinking of it is wrong and I feel very guilty for thinking about it,but this may be my only chance to get these tractors after years of searching for them.Kinda ironic they were only about a 45 minute drive from the house. So what would you do?

Looking around at my new neighbors, most of whom are city raised and have recently acquired their first mini-farms of five to fifteen acres and also from reading questions ask at various discussion sites on the web it is frighteningly apparent that a great many guys (and a few gals) are learning by trial and error and mostly error how to use a very dangerous piece of farm equipment. It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro ... [Read Article]
