Hey Bob, Are you sure about your comment? "It's NOT a "thermocoupler". There's no such word. ("Thermocouple" is a word, though".)" Try telling that to an APG Troop (I'm Weapons) that works the F-16. Yes, I am not sure about a 966, but have worked on numerous 06, 56, 66, and a few 86 series tractors and can tell you that there is a (or what can be called) a thermo-coupler between the exhaust manifold and the muffler. The temperature that I was always concerned about was the water temp. Jim
