the art of being able to chane and adjust points and condenser ignitions is a dying breed for us younger "punks". (even though i am 33). i personally have never had to do this. to the question---is there a way to tell if an ignition condenser is bad? my "c" that i tinker with wouldnt start so i put it on the charger to refill the battery and i didnot check the settings on the charger so as you probably have figured out i got about 10 min of 12V charging in a 6v system. that is not so bad but i cranked the engine before i figured that out. now i wonder if i need to change the condenser or not not too big a deal but if it can be tested that will let me know if it is bad.
