I un-stuck my '41 A with a piece of 3/4 inch steel rod, which I made into a crank by drilling a hole through it about an inch from one end and screwing through a pice of 3/8 inch all-thread about an inch and a half long. Then I put a three-foot pipe wrench on it and she's free! (Lots of oil in the plug holes first!)
