Thanks for the reply Nat. I know I need to take the whole valve out and clean it up, but that may have to wait for next winter, I think the critters are going to be getting hungry before I could get all of that done. (I know...I should have torn into it sooner) In the mean time though, would it hurt anything to plumb into those two "plugs" on the right hand side of the valve body until I can fix it right? I"m probably not calling them by the right term, but they"re the two 1 1/8" hex heads on the far right side of the valve. The forward one looks like some sort of relief valve and the rear one looks like just a solid plug.
