Many previous discussions about this... Stage II has optional live hydraulics and the battery box under the seat. Stage I has bigger engine, faster gears, disk brakes as compared to a regular H. There was a Stage III, which would have had a Torque Amplifier and live PTO like a Super MTA (aka Stage III Super M), but IH decided to skip that and go right to the 300.
