So what you're saying is that your water connections came together properly as did your bracket from the upper water housing to the radiator. If that's the case, and the grill will not come down to meet the holes (then the bottom won't fit either)because it contacts the top of the radiator, why then we'e got a problem. It seems that either you got the wrong radiator back(perhaps one for a Super C), or if the radiator was recored, the core is a taller one, or, the grill is in touch with the overflow pipe which is improperly located or the sides if the radiator were soldered in the wrong place or upside down. If the water connections lined up properly but the radiator is too tall, my guess is that it's the wrong radiator or it was recored with the wrong size core. Measure the core for us and we'll all compare core heights (from bottom tank to top tank. Curt
