Not gaskets just, just seals. If you've noticed, the original IH seals are twice as thick on most things. Those IH seals were also made of leather, my old mechanic buddy 75 tells me that the leather would swell when it got wet. Making them a better seal, but you can't get them any more. I've tryed just one seal, thy usually leak, but 2 seem to work good. Thats my take on things, there's probably one of the other guys with a better answer. Jeff W.
