Sarah,
If you could give us more info I would be happy to put a team of research students on your problem.
We have downloadable data from the research provided for SallyK and her brother, on basically the same problem.
You're age should not be a determining factor in this situation. However if the age should become a factor we can seek assistance from the Federal Government for study funding.
We need to know the distances from center of pto to ground, center of engine fan to ground, drivers approximate weight, and heighth. Crops tilled and season. We also need to know pto hp and speed, direction pto rotates and diameter of pto shaft, and spline type of pto.
The tractor will not pull an auxillary cooling fan if you should happen to be using an 8n dorf. If you should by chance have one almost powerful enough to spin the fan, then you must return it to the shed. You have mistakenly gotten onto your neighbors Zetor or Satoh by mistake.
Remember the key to any successful operation is safety. If you are already running an auxillary personel cooler, be sure to wear your safety glasses and tuck in your apron strings and dress tail. Also if you are wearing your sun bonnet to the field be sure to crop the tie strings down short. We can never stress safety enough, and wish you every good fortune in this endever.

Respectfully yours,
Prof Burrhead
