I called the guy and believe me it's no scam, CNH is just the manufacturer of the caps, not the distributor of em, other companies are in charge of the distributing cause CNH wanted nothing to do with it, but they are required to replace em since the number of these tractors being used on and off the farm has increased since when they started proviving free caps, they are ending though so you better get em while you can. this wasn't started for the harry homeowner with a cub, it was started cause the caps were causing barn fires mainly, when lawsuits began over it they started willingly giving them out at their dealerships and it grew due to the number of tractors needing them, i got a few years ago and am still getting them now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
