Sorry it took me so long to reply been work on the 39 h yes it does have electric Ive updated the generator and coil to 12volt cost me 155 dollars to get 12volt field coils and a complete overhaul including new brushes and bearings think it will be worth it though had old delco truck generator on it when i got it got the original generator and really nice 6volt lights that came off the tractor he had them and forgot about them he gave them to me when he was cleaning out one of his storage sheds and found them in a box. Still cant believe he was that honest considering what a nice set of lights cost even got a rear work light and mount from him but these arent original to this tractor but will use them since they are in such nice shape
