Here is a picture of the most common sign that an exhaust lift was once on an A or B. This is the only part left on our B from the exhaust lift. Gene is a great source of info on these as are a few others here. There is also a copy of Red Power you can order from their website which has a good article on the exhaust lift. September/October 2003 has the article by Jim Becker. Recommended to me by the author, it was a great resource. It has the schematic from the owners manual, but I can send you that also if you need it. HTH....Dave
