differential super A

Looking at my differential and trying to figure out the capacity, i noticed a plug right behind the tag on the seat bracket. What would this plug be for? straight slot head and 1/8 pipe thread. I looked at my I&T shop manual and it does not show it in any diagram. Another question.. does the lube travel threw the diff tube to the axle housing. The manual shows a seal at the outer end of the differential axle on the inside of the bearing.Just wondered when i put lube in it leaked out the planter seal. I knew it was leaking already, just wondered if the lube was supposed to travel there threw the transmission fill. I don't see and seals on the internet available for this area of the tractor. Also the pto sounds dry inside, it is a sling type lube? or maybe just low on oil. i had about 3 gallons in it but it was still dry sounding.Only way it looks like it can get lube is filled to the plug on the side of diff housing. I have drained it already as it was pouring out in several areas making a mess of the floor. really need to find seals and probably bearings. thanks
