With age and ware on the turn buckel clevis ya can't always go completly by the book . Set the free travel on the clutch as close as you can to spec. then the link that goes to the t/a clutch rod set it a bit tighter just as long as the throw out bearing is not rideing on the fingers you will be fine then ya have to adjust the t/a lever so it will release the t/a throw out bearing . Like i said it is only good on tractors with vary littel ware .
