I know these value questions get old and the value is what ever someone will pay but I have learned so much from these price discussions that I dare to ask again. Just got a call on a Farmall 404 that I looked at on Thursday and he will sell the tractor. Good straight sheet metal and fenders (short one piece) good grill and motor sounds healthy. 4 new tires and rims look solid. Needs some guage and light work and the 3pt is a bit jumpy so could be filter, low on fluid or worse. Was last changed in 1992 he says and hardly ever used. Has been sitting out in the weather which means rain but does have cap on the pipe. Sure looks like a restorable tractor and he wants 1700-1800 no tax 10 miles from home .I think that is fair but I might be way too high on this one. Lets hear it! THANKS migraine
