Got home last night and a friend calls me and ask if I wanted to sell my old Mustang. I bought it several years ago to restore...and well... you know the rest of the story. It was a 70, small V8, needed work but was ok. He wants to restore it for his boy in college. I told him maybe...but would rather trade for a truck or a tractor. He has a neat 51 International PU I have had my eyes on. I went over and he said he had a 856D he was thinking about getting rid of. Man...a 856...let's talk. Well, I am the proud ower of a 1970 856 and all I can see it needs is rims and tires on the rear. I drove it home and it ran like a champ. Girl friend says I am sick and beyond help. Heck...I feel ok. Maybe it's a new kinda flu bug or something. Sure looks big setting between the 450D and the 656D...really pretty.
