JS, Im not a fan of most snake oils and additives. That 87 octane is plenty high to prevent pre ignition spark knock unless your souped up to very high compression. Its true the lead in gas can provide some valve lubrication and protection, but it will take a longgggggggg time to make much difference in valve wear and recession unless youre using that tractor under full and hot n heavy loads for longgggggggg periods of time. Hardened valve seats are also possible if wear is really a problem.

About the only additives I use for long storage periods are Sta Bil to help prevent gum n varnish and increase the gas shelf life plus some low ash 2 cycle oil added to the gas which I believe may leave some of a protective film deposit in the carb or tank etc to reduce oxygen contact and oxidation PLUS it can serve to some degree as a top end and valve lube.
