Try using webbing like a piece of tiedown or seatbelt or you could find a old felt saddle pad and cut it out of that . You actually HAVE a cover ? I looked in the salvage yard last weekend for 3 hours and looked at at least 2 dozen letter tractors and didn't see any of them that showed sign of ever having one on . Ain't you a lucky one !
