OK guys. I have been looking to buy and have found a McCormick Deering # 24 2 row corn picker. I have a Farmall H that i want to mount it on. Ive read some of the archives in the forum and have read the pros and cons about this combination. Im NOT wanting to use this set up in the field. I want it for SHOW PURPOSES. Im just wanting any and all info on this setup as far as what it takes to mount the picker. I read somewhere that you have to have some kinda special spindles for mounting tha front nose cone on tha tractor. ?? Anyone know about this? Also none of my tractor have hydrolic on them. Did this model picker use hydros to raise it up and down?? Or were there just levers? Im unfamilar with this so please, any info would be apprecaited. Aslo i"ve heard this is a pretty rare combo and i thought it would be a nice and unusual prarade item. Any idea what this combo would bring at a sale if it was all restored? THANKS ALOT FOR ANY INFO!!! Brent. Ga.
