If the cone and rollers (inner components of the bearing)stayed on the spindle, they may need a bearing splitter to get them off. It is a tool with two matching halves that use threaded rod to draw them together. A puller may also be used on the back of the splitter/end of spindle to pull farther than splitter alone. JimN
