Yes. it will bolt in. Ive done the H/6cyl conversion, and it was pretty simple, I had to use a 460 flywheel, with a H pilot bearing, 460 clutch with a Super H clutch disk, and adapt a H starter ring onto the 460 flywheel, used the stock H throwout bearing and adjusted the 460 clutch fingers to reach. Now, on the M,, I would say that there is a combo very simular in factory parts to do this swap,, Its going to b mainly checking for the correct backspacing from the back of the engine plate, to the starter ring so you can fire it up using the stock M starter. Since the bellhousings were basicly Identical as far as bolt pattern, the backspacing may not have changed from model to model. They did not change from the SMTA to the 560, being almost identical rear ends,, So if they bolted a 4 cyl in that rearend, you can bolt a 6 cyl right into its place,,, My guess would be that you would use the 706 flywheel, adapt a M starter ring, 706 pressure plate, and a Super M clutch disk, (if the 706 and the Super M are the same diamter clutch disk) If the 706 is bigger, then maybe have a look at the 560 for parts interchanges,, You would for sure have to use the 560 frame rails, might as well use a 560 front bolster too,,, Or, if you get bored, use the hydrostatic style bolster used on the 06's,,, then you can have fully hydrostatic steering, with not having to worry about rigging up steering linkage rods. For those parts, look to the late 03 IH combines, and 15 series combines that used the hydrostatic steering. You could use the entire steering column from the combine and make a bracket to bolt it to the top plate on the M. Just a thought,,, Hope this helps, ChadS
