Has anyone ever seen a 230 with the old touch control hydraulics rather than the redesigned unit? I just purchased a 230 that has touch control, although the "C" date code found on the block indicates that it came from the factory that way. As you will be able to see, this tractor was originally yellow. Speculation is that it was possibly ordered as a "state" tractor to be used exclusively for mowing, also explaining the absence of a fast hitch. What were the advantages of the redesigned system typical of the 230 over the old touch control? I'm happy it has the system it has, with the rockshaft arms, as I will be able to use my Super C cultivators on it.
