Brian: I have two of the factory deluxe seats and one pan seat on my SA, 130 and 140. I also have one 15" steering wheel and will admit the combination of pan seat and 15" wheel is quite comfortable. I have never been happy with those deluxe seats IH started making optional on for SA, 100, 130 and 140. Most 140 have the optional deluxe seat. I have single point fast hitch on my 130 and 140 tractors and the rear rock shaft strikes the seat, if back all the way. It will strike pan seat as well. I have looked at countless solutions, and not sure I have the answer yet. I put the light square tubing under seat for two reasons; to stop hitch from hitting seat and be able to put seat back further. I am looking for a better seat for 130 and 140, but I want one that looks right for the tractor. The local CaseIH dealer had some seats with suspension, looked like replacments for 74 or 84 series tractors. I did some measuring on tractor, looking at fitting one of those seats. Just have to pick style that suits best. I have also looked at cutting steering shaft, installing a U-joint then raise the steering wheel from 1 to 3 inches. I haven't decided just where to cut, within 6" of wheel one could have a tilt steering wheel. I looked at photos I have scanned of tractors. They don't give much detail of 1.5" square tubing under seat. If you wish to send an email I will e mail back photos. They will at least give you an idea on how it looks.
