Fisherman, I just put a new carb on my Super A, and right out of the box it was dripping gas. Adjusting the floats did the trick on the first try. About it running hot, my coolant was percolating too. I have that thermo-siphon. I was even thinking about adding a water-pump. I had to take my radiator off to get my governor fixed, and while it was off, I sprayed a hose through the radiator. I couldn't believe how much chaff, dried mud, petrified bugs, and whatever came out of it. I let it soak and sprayed some more. Gobs of stuff. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. But I couldn't see that stuff to look through it when it was still on the tractor. Something to consider.
