hydraulic fluid question

i have a ih 340 diesel with the large hydraulic cylinder on the outside of tractor that operates the hydraulics. what type of fluid should i be useing? i have gl1-90wt in the tractor now which is also for the trans and rear end.ive noticed that it takes awhile for my hydraulics to start lifting after ive started the tractor. almost seems as if the fluid has to warm up before it will lift. what should i be useing? thanks for any help in advance hank
