The best luck that I have had with mufflers is to empty a can of high temp paint inside the muffler. The high temp sliver on the outside burned off, but the muffler has not rusted out (after 5+ years). If the looks of the outside is important, take it off and repaint it once in a while. When is the Albany show, and what is going on in Dalton ? Greg Delano, MN
