I'm in the process of re-doing my cub (I had to repair a noisey transmission bearing, but now that it's all apart, I'm taking the time to paint her)...anyway, my serial number is 141874 which, I think, makes her a 1951 (for years I thought it was a 1950)....I'm curious about my wheels, my fronts were painted silver for the wheel & red for the insert & the rears were all red including the weights...is this correct? I would have thought the rear wheels should be silver wheel/red insert like the front? Also, I put a new grill on her, the old one was red, I have seen others that are white...which is "right"...lastly, I'm replacing all my plug wires/cap etc...if I remeber right, these were all painted red when I got it (do I just spray it all red?).....one more thing, can I use the same International Red Implement Paint on the motor as I do on the tractor parts??or do I need to buy high temp paint? thanks from Maine
