This is a follow-up to a previous question regarding serial numbers. Sorry for the redundancy. Please confirm the following interpretation is correct regarding the Farmall C and Super C serial numbers: The Farmall C serial number begins with the letter prefix "FC" and is followed by the serial number. The Farmall Super C letter prefix is "FSC" and concludes with the serial number. Is the above interpretation correct. The reason I ask is that I located a Farmall C/Super C. The decals on the sheet metal indicate it is a Super C, but the serial number uses the letter prefix "FC". The actual number is FC-141468. The "FC" implies a straight C, but the numbers, 141468, suggest that it is a 1952 Farmall Super C (reference IH Tractor by Robert N. Pripps). Also, I intend to purchase Guy Fay's Farmall books which should offer soom education on the above topic. Thanks in advance.
