I used to do agronomic research on small plots, more like 80 by 200. Although they weren't fenced, I could turn a JD 4020 or larger (pulling a 15 ft wide undercutter (sweep plow) around in a 20 foot alley between plots without using reverse. A Cub should easily do that 10 feet from the fence, easier if he drives to the fence, reverses, then turns around and aligns himself. In other words, a Cub is fine.
