I am looking at purchasing an IH 2250 loader for my Farmall 706 and like the idea of the power beyond block so I can use the joystick control valve. I have looked through the archives and got some information. I emailed the gentleman who had some of these blocks made to see if he had any left. I do however have a question on which spool valve that I need to use with this power beyond block. My tractor currently has 1 remote on the rear and the spool valve has a solid end on it (no bolt on cap). Can I use a spool valve that would normally be used for the 2nd hydraulic outlet(open on both sides) or do I need to find one from an early 706 that has the cast cover on the end? Also, are these the only two pieces that I need to make this set-up work? thanks for any information.
