For all of those out there who remember my post about finding a Farmall MDV I was trying to buy, heres the new news. Gentleman I was talking to about buying it died two 3 1/2 ago. Son now owns the farm and all of his tractors. Called me today and said that I could get the MDV for 6,000. This is the same son that got the tractor running about 2 months ago. Also told me that he wouldn't come down on that price for anyone. What do you think? Worth it? 6k is pretty high for my blood. Was also telling about selling all of the junk, (plows/disc/bailers/planters/ ect..) for the steel. Seems to be kinda happy about giving all that to China. Really sad..
