I just wanted to thank all that helped get my Super C running again (symptom shown at bottom). Until one of you pointed it out, I did not know there is a second fuel filter (the ¼” diameter cylinder shaped screen that goes into the carb). When I cleaned mine, it ran much better (about 20 min before stalling). I then installed new plugs, cap & rotor, points and condenser and now she doesn’t miss a beat! A neighbor told me about this great discussion forum and this was my first experience, which I am grateful for. I am also more grateful than words can say for those of you who are veterans who have secured the freedoms of all of us! Todd 08:57:28 05/28/05 My 53 super C starts good but after only ten minutes, it dies. If I disengage the mower as soon as I hear that it is about to stall, it will continue running but only if I then throttle it down near idle. After letting it sit for (turned off) for about 15 min, I can start it and mow again for about 5-10 min. I opened the fuel filter bowl and cleaned the screen and also put in some concentrated carburetor cleaner but it did not help. I assume that it is the carburetor but I am hoping someone will guide me with suggestions. Thank you in advance for any comments. Todd

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
