Hello Folks Well, I just aquired myself a 400 IHC. Gosh, I love that little tractor. I've only had it two days and have used the heck out of it. I got it with a F-10 farmhand loader on it and it's not the easiest to get on and off of with that beast on there but it beats using a shovel!! What I was wondering is if there's any of you other fellows out there that have one as well and could give me some "tips" or advice on it. Anything at all that comes to mind. Do's and Don'ts. It's a 1955 year with a 12 volt conversion on it. I am currently running straight weight 20 oil in it(Only because it's winter and it originally had straight 30 in it when I got it) but am considering a multi vis for this coming summer. I was told that hy-tran in the rear end would work fine when I changed it..........Right or wrong? The rear wheel seals leak and I was told they did that since they were new. Any way to cure it of that? Oh yea, before I forget. It's got an international wide front on it and the fellow added power steering to it in later years. Not quite sure how that system all operates yet. Have'nt traced it down. Any and all replies are welcome. I want to take care of my new toy. She seems to be a dandy! Thanks in advance Rich

As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
